Forming the brass for the trapeze turned out to be much easier than I expected. A couple simple jigs, and adjustment at the vice here and there – and bam! Careful to be patient when cutting the threads for the end adjustment nuts – brass is such a soft metal.
Moving on to finding the right piece of bone to work for block Leo’s got some work to do. (See his previous work here) While he’s workin’ the bone I may put one together with wood. Will make a good comparison and option for the wood bodied resonator guitar project.
